1. Who we are & what this policy covers
Master Ballet Academy (“MBA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides dance education in Scottsdale, Arizona. This policy explains information practices for this public website and related inquiries, applications, registrations, and communications with the academy.
It describes the rebuilt academy website, including its Firebase-hosted version. Separate services linked from this website have their own notices and terms. This policy does not replace enrollment agreements, payment terms, or media permissions.
2. Information we receive
When you browse
Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Requests can include an IP address, browser and device information, the requested page or file, the time of the request, and permitted referrer information. We do not add a visitor analytics service or use the public website to build advertising profiles.
When you contact us
If you email, call, or otherwise contact the academy, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share, such as a name, email address, telephone number, a dancer’s experience, and the content of your inquiry. Email and telephone links use your chosen app or service; clicking a link alone does not submit a contact form to this website.
When you apply, register, or enroll
Program administration may involve a student’s name, age or date of birth, training history, audition materials, guardian and emergency contact details, class selections, and billing or registration records. The information required depends on the program and the service used. External registration and portal forms explain their requested fields.
The public website has no account sign-in, payment fields, audition upload, or student-record form. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or medical documents in a general inquiry. Ask the academy for the appropriate way to provide sensitive information.
3. How information is used
Information supports the services you request: answering questions, discussing placement, arranging auditions, administering classes and programs, communicating with families, and managing registrations and billing. It also supports website delivery, abuse prevention, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations.
If you choose to receive promotional communications, you can opt out using the instructions in the message or by contacting the academy. Essential communications about an application, enrollment, schedule, or payment may still be needed to provide the service.
4. When information is shared
Information may be handled by providers that support hosting, email, communications, registration, accounts, purchases, and payments. The academy may also disclose information to professional advisers, when required by law, or when necessary to address fraud, safety concerns, disputes, or threats to people or services.
Master Ballet Academy does not sell or rent personal information for money. This website does not contain advertising pixels or cross-site advertising integrations. Following an external link or choosing an embedded video allows that service to receive information under its own practices.
5. Services linked from this website
These services are used for specific visitor actions. Website hosting and the homepage performance feed process requests while you browse. Other services below receive requests when you follow their links or activate the video.
- Google Firebase Hosting
- Delivers the website and its locally hosted images and documents. Google processes incoming requests and technical information for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention. Firebase privacy information .
- Phoenix Ballet event feed
- When you approach the homepage performances section, your browser reads published event information from Phoenix Ballet’s Google Firebase database and loads event images from phoenixballet.org. These services receive technical connection information, including your IP address and browser details. The requests do not send academy account information, use sign-in, or load Phoenix Ballet’s analytics scripts. Performance details and tickets open on Phoenix Ballet’s website. Phoenix Ballet privacy policy .
- RegFox / Webconnex
- Hosts the linked Winter GPI registration and payment flow. Information entered there is processed through that service and made available to the academy for registration administration. The academy website does not collect payment-card details. RegFox privacy policy .
- GoStudioPro
- Provides the external parent portal for account access, schedules, balances, and registration. Login and student account information are entered in the portal rather than on this public website. Studio Pro privacy policy .
- Printify
- Hosts the academy’s linked apparel storefront and handles shopping, order, delivery, and checkout information. Printify privacy policy .
- YouTube / Google
- The Media and GPI pages use locally hosted video posters. Choosing Play loads YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player and sends connection and playback information to Google, including an IP address and browser details. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data is collected; YouTube controls its playback storage and related practices. Closing the video removes the player but does not erase data already received by Google. You can leave the video unplayed and continue using the page. Google privacy policy .
- Maps, social media, email & telephone services
- Directions, social profiles, ordinary YouTube links, email, and telephone links open a destination or app you choose. Those providers may process your request and any information you share there. No map or social feed is embedded on this website.
7. Children, students & guardians
The academy teaches children and teenagers. The public website provides program information for families; it does not offer children an account, chat, contact form, or upload tool. Parents or legal guardians should handle inquiries, applications, registration, and permissions for a minor.
We do not knowingly use children’s personal information beyond delivering, administering, or improving our educational and related services, unless that use is permitted or required by law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate involvement or permission, contact the academy. A parent or guardian can ask about information held for their child and request review, correction, or deletion where applicable. Do not include sensitive student documents in the initial request; we may need to verify your identity and authority first.
8. Photographs, video & media
Classes, rehearsals, performances, and academy events may be photographed or recorded. Before using identifiable student photographs or recordings for public-facing purposes—including education, promotion, advertising, our website, and social media—we will obtain permission or consent where required or appropriate. Visiting the website does not grant a new media release.
If you have a concern about an image or recording used by the academy, email the page link and a description of the concern. The academy can review the use and any relevant permissions. Publicly shared media may also appear on external platforms, whose controls and policies apply to copies held there.
9. How long information is kept
Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed. Inquiries, program records, and billing communications may be kept to provide services, maintain necessary student and business records, meet accounting or legal requirements, or address disputes. A deletion request may be limited by those obligations.
Providers maintain their own retention practices. Google currently describes Firebase Hosting IP-address retention as a few months; see its linked privacy information for the current explanation. No single retention period applies to all academy and provider records. Contact us about a specific category of information.
10. Security
This website uses HTTPS and browser security controls, serves academy images and documents locally, restricts the public event feed to Phoenix Ballet’s services, and does not store student records or payment details on its public pages. These measures reduce exposure but do not make any transmission, email service, or online platform completely secure.
Use the approved portal or registration service for the action you need. If a message appears to request a password or unusual payment information in the academy’s name, contact us using the telephone number below.
11. Your choices & privacy requests
You may contact the academy to ask how information is used, request access to or correction of your information, request deletion, or raise a concern about a student’s information or media. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, additional rights may include a copy of information, restrictions on certain uses, or an appeal of a decision. Legal exceptions and recordkeeping requirements can affect a request.
Send requests to masterballetnews@gmail.com or use the postal or telephone contact below. Describe the request and your relationship to the student, if relevant. We may need information to verify identity and authority, and will handle qualifying requests as required by applicable law. Please do not send identification documents before we ask for an appropriate verification method.
For information held independently by an external provider, you may also need to use that provider’s privacy request process. Contact the academy for questions about records used to administer an MBA program.
12. California privacy rights
California residents may have additional rights under applicable law, including access, correction, deletion, and information about certain uses or disclosures of personal information. Master Ballet Academy does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Use the privacy request process above or the contact details below to submit a request. We will handle qualifying requests as required by applicable law.
13. Other state privacy rights
Other U.S. states may give residents additional privacy rights. When those laws apply, the academy will honor required rights and provide ways to exercise them. Use the privacy request process above or the contact details below.
14. International visitors
Master Ballet Academy operates in the United States. If you contact us or use a linked service from another country, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where the provider operates. Privacy protections can differ by location. Any rights and obligations depend on the law applicable to the processing; contact us with a question or request.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when website features, providers, or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Any additional notice or permission required by applicable law will be addressed separately; continued browsing is not a substitute for consent where consent is required.
