Level II

Ages 5 – 7

Level II classes are 45 minutes long and they meet twice a week. The class more closely follows the structure of a ballet technique class. The class begins with conditioning, strengthening and stretching exercises to help students use, and isolate, certain muscle groups pertaining to dance. Students will use the ballet barre, and will learn ballet vocabulary. Body placement and alignment will be discovered. Class etiquette is part of the classroom practice and expectation. This class focuses on Musicality and how movements correspond with the music. Small jumps and exercises across the floor will be practiced to build strength and endurance.
